World sees the actions but the motives behind them are hidden. One young boy loved a girl and as it always happens this girl married someone else This boy joined the army to go away from the place People called him a patriot .Human mind is strange After hearing the people call him patriot he also thought tht he was a brave young man ready to risk his life to defend the motherland. I learnt a lesson.Pause and examine your motives delving deep into you mind

Vagaries of life

This happened before nearly 60 years or so.A boy of 15 used to deliver newspapers to earn and support his family.SSc results were published in the newspapers then.This boy could see his own result much earlier than his classmates.He would see his own result and it was failure .He delivered the papers and the parents of the boys who had passed gave him pedhas .They never imagined that the newspaperboy was himself a student.This boy returned home carrying pedhas and the news of his failure .His father never got angry though this happened five or six times.

The Rendezvous

The Rendezvous by Evelyn Anthony is a very interesting novel-unputdownable as they say It tells us a story of unusual coincidence - two persons ,one a German Gestapo officer and the other a French young girl working for the French Resistance.He is supposed to torture her but he feels irresistible attraction for her.Their brief and fleeting love would have died a natural death but they cross the path after 20 years...After first 40 pages you are simply carried away with the story.It is the most gripping story tha I hv ever read.I finished it in 3 days(185pages)

In search of love and beauty

At present I am reading this novel by Ruth Prawer Jhabvala Though slow-paced and full of detailed descriptions, it is interesting once you get into the story.The character of Leo brings to my mind Osho though there are many differences. I got interested mainly because of this. I remember to have read a novel by Updike describing the life in Osho's commune
